Marion C. Sparks

Marion C. Sparks, 90, of Hope died Thursday, January 18, 1996, in Medical Park Hospital.

Born December 1, 1905, in Murfreesboro, he was a retired farmer and a member of Shover Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Denvil Sparks and Terriel Sparks of Hope; a daughter, Margaret Skinner of Hope; three sisters, Rema Franks of Pine Bluff, Mae Ross of Clovis, Calif., and Aslee Kemp of Texarkana; six grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Services were held Sunday, January 21, at Oak Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Miller officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home of Hope.
