Larry W. Elledge

Larry W. Elledge, 48, of Hope died Monday, January 15, 1996, at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas.

Born November 30, 1947, in Hope, he was employed by Cooper Tire and Rubber Company, where he was an electrician for six years. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and Arkansas Chapter of ABATE (Arkansas Bikers Aiming Toward Education). He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Elledge.

Survivors include his wife, Julie Purtle Elledge of Hope; three sons, John Elledge of Texarkana, Chris Elledge and Cole Elledge, both of Hope; a daughter, Casey Elledge of Hope; his mother, Lola Elledge of Hope; two brothers, Richard Elledge and Wendell Elledge, both of Hope; and four sisters, Lillian Anderson, Sandra Franklin, Donna Rosenbaum and Judy Cowart, all of Hope.

Services were held Thursday, January 18, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. I.V. Hight and Rev. Kenneth Bobo officiating. Burial was in Betts Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home.
