No Action Taken On Request; Superintendent's Contract ExtendedPublished Wednesday, January 24, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayunePrescott's school board did not take action on a request to sell one or two lots in the Brad Scott addition owned by the district. The board met in its regular board meeting Tuesday, January 16 at the high school library. John Stanley Jr. and Mary Bowman, representing Community Development Groups asked the board for a six- month option to purchase the lots which are located across from the Prescott Middle School campus playground west of East First Street North. An apprasial is being done on the property along with other property Stanley and Bowman are interest in purchasing. The two showed the board plans for two- and three-bedroom duplexes which they will build and own but operated by Prescott Housing Authority. Construction will begin in March on some of the units to be built and it is hoped the district can get its apraisal and decide whether to sell the property within two to three weeks. A computer user agreement was approved by the board for district students who will be accessing the world wide web via computers at the school. The agreement offers disciplinary action for students engaging in inappropiate behavior or conduct on the internet.
