Sarah Toliver

Sarah Elizabeth Toliver, 77, of Prescott died Monday, January 22, 1996, at Prescott Nursing Center.

Born May 13, 1918, in Blevins, she was a homemaker, a member of Greenhill A.M.E. Church in Blevins, where she was a church class leader, a trustee of the church and a choir member.

Survivors include her husband, Lewis Toliver of Prescott; five sons, Earl Toliver of San Jose, Calif., Wayne Toliver and Charles Toliver both of Prescott, Jerry Toliver of Oakharbor, Wash., and Vermon Toliver of New Jersey; four daughters, Ruth Evans of Prescott; Pearl Toliver of Milwaukee, Wisc., Vera Toliver of Madison, Wisc., and Mary Gilliam of Milwaukee; one half brother, Lewis Stamps of Los Angeles, Calif.; one half sister, Juanita Hopson of Los Angeles; 20 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Services were held Friday, January 26, at Greenhill A.M.E. Church in Blevins with Rev. A.L. Colter officiating. Burial was in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott under the direction of Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
