Trudie Taylor

Trudie Elizabeth Taylor, 86, of Sugar Land, Texas, died Friday, February 2, 1996, at Memorial Southwest Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Born September 20, 1909, in Slocum, Texas, she was the daughter of Dorsey Wren and Nancy Emmer Mitchell Barham. She was a member of Southwest Baptist Church in Sugar Land and the widow of Oba Lawrence Taylor.

Survivors include a son, Earnest Barham Taylor of Sugar Land; a sister, Hazel Hurst of Hot Springs; and three grandchildren.

Services were held Sunday, February 4, at the Garmany and Garden Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg, Texas, with Bro. Ed Forrest officiating. Burial was Monday, February 5, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hope under the direction of Garmany and Garden Funeral Directors of Rosenberg.
