Isabelle HarringtonPublished Wednesday, February 7, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneIsabelle Briggs Harrington, 100, of Gurdon died Sunday, January 28, 1996, in Hope. Born March 13, 1895, in Beirne, she was a housewife and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Beirne. Survivors include two sons, James Harrington of Gurdon and Augustus Harrington of Omaha, Neb.; six daughters, Dorothy Gulley of Gurdon, Jacquelyn Brown of Gresham, Ore., Ella Faye Anthony of Little Rock, Phanae Nolan and Charlotte Nolan of Prescott and Sharon Harrington of Dallas, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 1, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Texarkana. Services will be held Friday, February 2, at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Beirne with Rev. Rufus Hatley officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Beirne under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Texarkana, Ark.
