"As we leave the 7-AA, we're sending a statement (with a perfect league mark to date).

"They rose and answered the challenge," Williams continued. "I'm pleased with it. The players worked hard and gave it their all.

"It hasn't been as easy as it sounds. Each night out I didn't know how we'd go. We could easily be 1-4 as 5-0."
