Herman H. Hooker

Herman H. Hooker, 83, of Prescott, died Tuesday, February 6, 1996, at a Prescott nursing home.

Born September 15, 1912, in Schaal, he was the son of the late James A. and Nancy Elizabeth Williams Hooker, a member of Temperanceville Baptist Church of Nashville and retired from the upholstery businesss. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Hooker.

Survivors include a brother, Eugene Hooker of Pensacola, Fla.; four sisters, Inez Coleman of Nashville, Ann McCullough of Prescott, Lois Porter of Austin, Texas, and Mildred Jones of Amarillo, Texas.

Graveside services and burial were Thursday, February 8, at Mineral Springs Cemetery in Mineral Springs with Bro. J.T. Hill officiating. Burial was under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Baptist Children's Home in Texarkana.
