Eunice ButlerPublished Wednesday, February 21, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneRev. Eunice Butler, 92, of Arkadelphia died Friday, February 2, 1996, in Riverwood Convalescent Nursing Facility in Arkadlephia. Born March 20, 1903, in Dallas County, he was the son of the late Mattie and William Butler. He was the widower of Mollie Lee Butler. He pastored many area churches, including Beulah Princeton, Holly Grove, Good Hope, Saint John, Harrison Chapel and Shady Grove Baptist Churches. He served as president of Section Number Two of the Greater Bradley District until his health failed. Survivors include his adopted son, John Lee Butler Jr. of Arkadelphia; and four grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, February 10, at Harmony Bible Missionary Baptist Church in Sparkman with Rev. Wallace Ingram officiating.
