Wyatt Running For Coroner

Published Wednesday, February 21, 1996 in the Gurdon Times

Scott Wyatt announced last week that he is a candidate for Clark County Coroner.

Wyatt, a lifelong resident of Arkadelphia and Clark County, worked for 16 years as service manager at his family's motorcycle dealership, Southwest Yamaha. He has completed the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and paramedic program at Henderson State University and is currently a certified Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic. Wyatt is now employed with BMCA Ambulance Service in Arkadelphia.

"I want the opportunity to serve my county and bring my emergency medical knowledge into the corner's office," he said in a prepared statement. "I believe my training and work as a paramedic will qualify me for this office."

Wyatt is a volunteer with the Caddo Valley Fire Department. He is married to the former Beth Andrews of Arkadelphia and has two daughters, Ashley, 7, and Alison, 22 months.
