Bug-A-Boo Stories SetPublished Wednesday, September 8, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesDeGray Lake Resort State Park and the Pete Parks Center for Regional Studies at Ouachita Baptist University will be sponsoring the first annual Bug-A-Boo Stories on Friday, October 1. The storyteller will be Chuck Larkin from Atlanta, Ga. Larkin is a traditional Appalachian storyteller and folk singer and has been the featured storyteller for many large events. The event will consist of four performances. Three of those performances will be dedicated exclusively to school groups (second through sixth graders) and will be held at the Verser Drama Center on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University. The final evening performance will be open to the public and held at the newly renovated DeGray Lake Resort State Park Lodge Convention Center beginning at 7:30 p.m. Admission fee is $2.
