Part Of Classes Offered Through Henderson

Charlotte McCauley's fifth grade social studies and Joyce Westmoreland's sixth grade science classes at Prescott Middle School are participants in the K-4 Crusade class offered through Henderson State University.

This class features an interdisciplinary approach for the instruction of science, math and reading. It provides innovative training and equipment for educators who are committed to improving education for all students.

Fifth and sixth grade students at Prescott Middle School have participated in several activities in conjunction with the K-4 crusade, including bubbleology, the care and feeding of hermit crabs, prior knowledge, writing assessment and language experience.
