Woodrow DanielsPublished Wednesday, March 13, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneWoodrow Wilson Daniels, 78, of Gurdon died Thursday, March 7, 1996, at his residence. He was born May 18, 1917, in Beirne, the son of Grover C. and Vedia Crab Daniels. He was retired from Gurdon Lumber Co. He was a U.S. Army veteren of World War II and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Gurdon. Survivors include his wife, Katherine Carter Daniels; a son, Burt Daniels of Gurdon; a daughter, Betty Thomas of Gurdon; a brother, Don Daniels of Arkadelphia; a sister, Georgia Golden of Arkadelphia; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were Saturday, March 9, at Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eugene Hughes and Rev. Dave Montgomery officiating. Interment was at Carter Cemetery.
