Baseball Sign-Up Continues Through Next Week For YouthPublished Wednesday, March 13, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneIt's time to register youngsters with the Prescott Baseball Association for the coming Little League season. Registration for all players is $20 each. Teams will be selected in Junior Little League, Little League, Dixie League, Dixie League Minors, and Dixie League Majors. Families with two or more players being registered will receive a 20 percent discount on the registration fees. The deadline for registering for the upcoming baseball season is March 21. There will be a $5 late fee for those registered after March 22. Tryouts will be held April 13 at the John Johnson Sports Complex behind Prescott High School. For more information, contact Steve Crow at Prescott Middle School, Tommy Webb at Webb's Carpet or Bev Jordan at Nevada County Insurance. Forms can also be mailed to the PBA at P.O. Box 351, Prescott, AR 71857-0351. There will also be a meeting of all 15 and 16 year old players at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23 at the complex.
