ROBERT LANDERSPublished Wednesday, March 20, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneRobert Landers, 67, of Mount Pleasant, Texas, died Friday, March 15, 1996, at his home. He was born December 10, 1928, in Cale. He was employed with Pleasant Oil Company and a member of Nevill's Chapel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Allan Landers. Survivors include his wife, Cloel Landers of Mount Pleasant; a son, David Landers of Sulphur Springs, Texas; a daughter, Gina Nixon of Red Oak, Texas; his mother, Era Landers of Omaha, Texas; three sisters, Mary Jane Crane of Omaha, Texas, Merle Hines of Prescott and Betty Maure of Hilo, Hawaii; and five grandchildren. Graveside services and burial were held Sunday, Mar. 17, in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott under the direction of Bates-Cooper-Weems-Robinson Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
