Joe Colten of Stamps died Sunday, March 10, 1996, at Wadley Hospital in Texarkana.

He was a retired electrican and a Baptist.

Survivors include three daughters, Jan Loveless of Russellville, Gail Smith of Taylor and Melonie Collier of Stamps; three sons, Joe Colton Jr. of Harligen, Texas, Mike Colten of Buckner and Mark Colten of Stamps; 12 grandchildren; and A great grandchild.

Services were held Tuesday, March 12. Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery in Stamps under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
