The opening of the oudoor relay season in southwest Arkansas seemed to be a repeat of the state indoor meet ealier this month.

The Stamps Yellowjackets and Prescott Curley Wolves battled point for point, but the result was once again the same. Stamps took home the meet trophy and Prescott finished as runner-up.

Although the facilities were not upgraded at De Queen, their staff did an excellent job of conducting an early season meet and the weather cooperated to give the athletes a chance for some decent performances.
