Men's and women's conference on family and evangelism will be held July 22-24 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Clair Baptist Church in Burtsell. Special guests will be Rev. and Sis. Arnold Smith and Rev. and Sis. Keith B. Beard of Illinois, Sis. Linda Clark of Hope, Sis. Madonna Hayes of Prescott, Bro. Steve Jackson, Bro. Vernell Jones, Rev. and Sis C.W. Harris of Section One of S.W.D.A. and Bro. Rosboro Hendrix of S.W.D.A., layman and national layman and others. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Rev. L.B. Beard, pastor.

Annual homecoming will be Sunday, July 18, at 2:30 p.m. at Providence A.M.E. Church in the Kansas community. Special guest will be New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon, Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor and speaker.

Women's conference will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Okolona Friday, July 30, at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 31, at 8:00 a.m. for a prayer breakfast. Theme will be 'Women Empowered for War in a New Millennium.' Everyone is welcome. You may contact Lola Hatley at 353-6283 for more information. Sis. Rose Dixon, president, Sis. Frederick Hatley has returned home from Brazil and was guest with family and friends with a welcome home dinner held in the home of Bernard Hatley. It was an enjoyable occasion Thursday at 6:00 p.m. In attendance were Lola and Shanina Hatley, Joe and Hazel Welch, Laura Grigsby, Arletha Allen, Fred Hatley, K.P. Meeks, Bessie Rogers, Marsha Hatley and family, Vivian Rhinehart, Margret Burton, Eula F.Quarles, Rev. Rufus R. Hatley, myself and many others.
