Revival To Begin At Whelen BaptistPublished Wednesday, March 20, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesA revival will be held beginning Monday night, March 25, at East Whelen Baptist Church. It will continue through March 29. Orville Farren of Nash, Texas, an outstanding preacher and singer, will be the speaker. Bro. Farren is the pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Nash, which he started eight years ago. He began singing in what is known as the Farren Family Singers as a child. Services began each night at 7:00.
