Fair Board Gets Funds for H\ACPublished Wednesday, March 20, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesGrants for the Clark County Fair Association have been approved. These funds will be used for heating and air conditioning improvements in the fair buildings. According to a release from State Representative Percy Malone, the grant is for $38,762. The grant will be administered through Clark County Judge Grady Runyan's office. Malone said members of the fair board approached him last fall looking for a solution to the extreme heat in one of the buildings. The cooling system was in dire need of repair in this structure. Malone looked into the situation, and with the help of Runyan, secured the grant through the Joint Committee on Energy. Malone is a member of this panel.
