Students Participate In CrusadePublished Wednesday, March 27, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesCindy Duke's, Allison Pepper's, Marsha Griffin's, Michealyn Moorehead's and Riche Clark's classes are participants in the K-4 Crusade class offered through Henderson State University. This class features an interdisciplinary approach for the instruction of science, math and reading. It provides innovative training and equipment for educators who are committed to improving education for all students. First grade and other special classes at Gurdon Primary School have participated in several activities in conjuction with the K-4 Crusade, including bubbleology, penguins, dogs, frogs, prior knowledge, writing assessment and language experience. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
