Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Fred Flintstone, Yogi Bear, Scooby-Doo, George Jetson and the greatest cartoon characters of all time are on their way to Prescott on April 1 when Prescott Video adds the Cartoon Network to their line-up.

The Cartoon Network will be available on basic cable. Subscribers will be able to "toon-in" to the 24-hour Cartoon Network on Channel 34. In addition Prescott Video is adding CNN Headline News, C-Span and Victory channel.

One of the newest entertainment networks from Turner Broacdasting System, the Cartoon Network features characters from over 8,500 cartoon titles in the world's largest cartoon library. The Cartoon Network family includes characters from the Turner-owned Hanna-Barbera, MGM, Warner Bros. and Paramount libraries.

The Cartoon Network combines the best in classic animation with unique original ventures, such as World Premiere Toons, The Moxy Show and Space Ghost Coast to Coast. Since its launch in 1992, the Cartoon Network has become one of the basic cable's highest-rated networks.

"We are excited to be able to provide our subscribers with the greatest cartoons of all time any hour of the day or night," Jim Dickerson, general manager of Prescott Video, said. "The Cartoon Network offers a variety of quality entertainment that viewers of all ages can enjoy, and is yet one more excellent reason to subscribe to cable."
