Annual Rabies Clinics Set County-Wide For April 6thPublished Wednesday, March 27, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneA series of rabies clinics will be held in Nevada County on Saturday, April 6. The annual clinics are sponsored by the 4-H Clubs in Nevada County. The 1945 General Assembly of Arkansas passed an act requiring all dogs in the State to be vaccinated once a year against rabies. In 1975 this act was amended to include cats in the Rabies Control Act and is made the duty of all dog and cat owners or persons having possession or control of dogs and cats within the state to have such animals vaccinated with vaccine against rabies.
