Ruth GivensPublished Wednesday, April 3, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneRuth Bennett Givens, 81, of Hope, formerly of Nevada County, died Sunday, March 3, 1996, in a Hope nursing home. Born Septemberdf 14, 1914, in Nevada County, she was a homemaker. Survivors include one sister, Maudie Volentine of Hope; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services were held Tuesday, April 2, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Jimmy Dale officiating.
