Nellie Clark

Nellie Moore Clark, 88, of Little Rock, formerly of Prescott, died Tuesday, March 26, 1996, in Little Rock.

Born November 5, 1907, in Prescott, she was a graduate of Henderson State University and was an elementary school teacher for 42 years, mainly in Nevada nad Hempstead Counties. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, Alpha Delta Kappa Gamma, the Iris Garden Club and was an active hospital volunteer and member of the Hope Church of Christ, where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Ardell Clark of Little Rock; two daughters, Sue Bolls of Belgrade, Mont., and Margie Wood of North Little Rock; one son, William D. Clark of Las Cruces, N.M.; one sister, Vivian Moore Gutensohn of Little Rock; eight grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday, March 30, at Hope Church of Christ with Tommy Mounts and John Cannon officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Herndon Funeral Home of Hope. Memorials may be made to the Hope Church of Christ.
