Easter Egg Hunt Planned

The Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring its second annual Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 6, at the Nevada County Courthouse.

All children age one through ten are invited. There will be four egg hunts scheduled according to age groups:

  • 10:00 a.m. -- ages one and two;
  • 11:00 a.m. -- ages three and four;
  • 12:00 noon -- ages five and seven; and
  • 1:00 p.m. -- ages eight to ten.

    The Chamber Easter Bunny will be present to visit with egg hunters. Joining the bunny will be Miss Nevada County, Kelli Ashbrook; Miss PHS, Jessi Ward; and the Curley Wolf mascot.

    A `golden egg' will be hidden in each category. The finder will receive a stuffed Easter bunny as the prize.

    There will be a concession stand available. Other groups will be present to entertain the children as the eggs are hidden.

    There will be lots of Easter eggs, gifts and prizes complimentary of the Chamber of Commerce and the retail merchants and businesses.

    There are no admission charges. However, egg hunters should bring an Easter basket for each child. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
