Easter Sunrise Services SetPublished Wednesday, April 3, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneSpecial sunrise services will be held Sunday morning by the Prescott Ministerial Alliance. There will be two locations for the community sunrise services. Both services begin at 6:30 a.m. Remember, Easter, April 7, is also the time change Sunday. Don't forget to set your clock up one hour. The locations will be First Church of the Nazarene, located at 200 West Second North, and at Suckles Lake. There is a pavilion located at the lower lake. There will be chairs, but if you want to bring your lawn chairs then feel free to do so. An offering will be taken at both surnise services. The Ministerial Alliance churches cooperate together to provide for the temporary needs of transients. There are numerous requests upon churches and your contributions help the alliance to help those in need. Other Easter services are also going on this week. Today (Wednesday) special services were to be held at 12:00 noon at Cothran Chapel at 422 Greenlawn. The speaker will be Janet Roark. Another service will be held tomorrow (Thursday) at noon at Mt. Zion Church on West Main. The speaker will be Dale Diffee. Friday's services, also at noon, will be held at First Assembly of God Church on West Hazel. The speaker will be Tyrone Davis. With the business community in mind the Prescott Ministerial Alliance has planned these services for workship, fellowship and meals. The format is to worhsip for 20 minutes, eat lunch for 20 minutes, and then have 20 minutes to get back to work. The host church will provide soup and sandwiches.
