Two Rivers Festival is April 12-13

Arkadelphia will be `celebrating industry' with the annual Festival of Two Rivers April 12 and 13.

A tent of industry will be set up downtown, along with arts and crafts booths, food vendors, an entertainment stage and an activity area.

Arts and crafts booths will open at noon on Friday, the 12th, and entertainment will begin at 3:00 p.m. with the Henderson State University jazz band and continue with other groups through a style show at 7:00 p.m.

The weekend will bring a 5k run, a children's run, a softball tournament, canoe races, a car show and shine, a dog show, a lumberjack contest, a bluegrass festival, a catfish cooking contest, 3 on 3 basketball, and much more.

The Festival of Two Rivers has been an annual event for over 20 years "to celebrate the good life in Arkadelphia." For details, contact Arkadelphia Chamber of Commerce at 246-5542.
