Joslin Named Conservationist

Published Wednesday, April 3, 1996 in the Gurdon Times

Fred Reed, chairman of the Clark County Conservation District, announces that Rich Joslin will be serving as district conservationist in Clark County.

Joslin will be working with the Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Clark County Conservation District, on conservation planning and conservation engineering practices.

Joslin comes to Clark County from Paris in Logan County, where he served as soil conservationist.

He began his career as a soil scientist in Woodruff County then went to DeWitt in Arkansas County. He is a graduate of Arkansas State University, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in plant science.

Joslin, his wife, Karen, and son, Cody, plan to live in the Arkadelphia area.

He says that he is looking forward to working with the residents of Clark County. He also says that if you need assistance don't hesitate to call his office at 246-9817, or come by at 1030 Village North, Suite 2, in Arkadelphia.
