Brice `Peanut' Polk Thomas Jr., 71, of Perrytown died Saturday, April 6, 1996, in Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

Born February 16, 1925, in Hope, he was a retired butcher for Moore's Grocery and a member of Providence Memorial Baptist Church in Perrytown.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Thomas of Perrytown; three stepsons, Ralpoh Byers of Mineral Springs, David Byers of Nashville and Phil Byers of Hot Springs; two daughters, Peggy Herman of Minden, La., and Deborah Langston of Prescott; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Services were held Monday, April 8, at Herndon Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Wayne Langston officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hope under the direction of Herndon Funeral Home.
