Earnestine GuyPublished Wednesday, April 10, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneEarnestine Inez Guy, 72, of Prescott died Thursday, April 4, 1996. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and the widow of Benjamin B. Guy Jr. She worked many years at the Learning Corner Daycare Center and also at the Nevada County Day Service Center and between bouts with cancer, she was a faithful volunteer at the Hillcrest Care Center. Survivors include a son, Benny Guy of El Paso, Texas; a daughter, Carolyn Steed of Prescott; a brother, Leslie Bartee of Hope; six grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. Services were held Saturday, April 6, at Central Baptist Church in Prescott. Burial was in Piney Grove Cemetery under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
