Local Guard Unit Plans Open House

The Prescott National Guard Armory is hosting a spring open house from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18.

This is an excellent opportunity for young men and women with questions about the Army National Guard to learn more about its career opportunities and college assistance programs. Parents and families are encouraged to attend and to find out more about the Army National Guard and what it does.

Refreshments will be provided and there will be drawings for several door prizes.

Military equipment, including machine guns, mortars, vehicles and aircraft, will be on display with personnel available to demonstrate and to explain its usage.

The armory is located at 841 West Gee in Prescott, one block off Highway 371 next to Potlatch.
