Ballow Positions Drawn For Primary (cont)Published Wednesday, April 17, 1996 in the Nevada County Picayunerd. None was at the meeting. Benton encouraged all candidates to run clean campaigns because, "we all have to live together afterwards." Benton said there has been plenty of nasty politics on the national level already, and none is needed locally. "If you know something bad about (one of the candidates) there's no need to tell it.
