Fitness Fair Set For May 10

The Seniors' Fun and Firness Fair will be Friday, May 10, at 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Garland County Fairgrounds on Higdon Road in Hot Springs.

A day of fun activities is planned for senior citizens living in Garland, Hot Spring, Clark, Montgomery and Pike counties. Health related exhibits, information on home care, dance contests, games, door prizes, Sack your Meds, and hair trims and manicures will be available.

A free lunch will be served at noon and reservations must be made by calling 321-2811 or 1-800-467-2170.

The fair is sponsored by Entergy, Arkansas Power and Light, Area on Aging of West Central Arkansas Inc., Garland County Extension Homemakers Council and the Garland County Fair Association.

Entertainment will be Second Baptist kindergarten, squaredancing and line dancing music. Hot Springs Village Pop Orchestra will play for the dance contest competition in waltz, foxtrot, jitterbug and others.
