Rabies Clinics Are Set Across County; At Gurdon Thurs.

Published Wednesday, April 17, 1996 in the Gurdon Times

Local veterinarians, the Clark County Extension Service and the Clark County Health Department are sponsoring a series of rabies clinics throughout Clark County. The cost per vaccination will be $5. No pets under three (3) months of age can be vaccinated against rabies.

State law requires dogs and cats be vaccinated annually against rabies. Please have your pets and hunting dogs vaccinated to protect your families, friends, livestock and other pets.

Rabies can occur antime of year as there is no time when rabies is more prevalent. Dogs and cats on farms are more likely to be exposed to rabies as they are more likely to be in contact with rabied animals, especially skunks.
