Clara RidlingPublished Wednesday, April 24, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneClara Mae Winberry Ridling, 83, of Hope, died Saturday, April 20, 1996. Born July 28, 1912, in Willisville, she taught school for 32 years, 20 in Hope, and prepared taxes for 25 years. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church of Hope for 47 years. Survivors include her husband, Thurman Ridling of Hope; a step daughter, Rebecca Sage of Maumelle; a sister, Christeen Rogers of Magnolia; and three grandsons. Services were held Monday, April 22, at Unity Baptist Church in Hope with the Rev. I.V. Hight officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope under the direction of the Herndon Funeral Home of Hope. Memorials can be made to Unity Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
