Murlean PurifoyPublished Wednesday, May 1, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneMurlean Purifoy, 64, of Bluff City died Sunday, April 21, 1996, in Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Born July 15, 1931, in Nevada County, she was a homemaker and a member of St. John Baptist Church in Bluff City. Survivors include her husband, R.J. Purifoy of Bluff City; four sons, Dale Purifoy and William Floyd Purifoy of Bluff City, Tommy Purifoy of Chidester and Daniel Lee Purifoy of Prescott; two brothers, Cullen Purifoy and McKinnon Purifoy of Bluff City; and six grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, April 27, at St. John Baptist Church in Bluff City with Rev. Wallace Ingram officiating.
