Rotary Fish Fry Is May 9Published Wednesday, May 1, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe annual Rotary Club fish fry is all set for Thursday, May 9, in the Prescott Elementary School cafetorium. The fish fry will consist of catfish filets, French fries, coleslaw and hush puppies with plenty of iced tea, onions and catsup Helping the Rotarians this year are the school kids in the Prescott Shuttle. Each year the Rotarians help them in a summer educational project that carries the students to various parts of the United States. This year the Prescott Shuttle will go to Texas with stops in Houston at the space center and the Alamo at San Antonio, as well as other educational spots. In addition to this project the Rotary Club sponsors a Little League baseball team and has other educational and children's projects. Tickets for the fish fry are on sale by the Rotarians and members of the shuttle. Prices are $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.
