Wingfield Seeks Council Position

Donna Wingfield has announced her candidacy for Prescott City Councilman in Ward Four.

Wingfield is general manager of the Comfort Inn in Prescott, with overall responsibility for operation of property. She has almost 20 years experience in all facets of motel operations to include staff supervision, administration, training, purchasing, account development and advertising.

For the last 14 years Wingfield has worked for the public in the city of Prescott.

"My platform will be to work closely with industries for economic development, beautification, keeping our city safe and free of crime, for some of the best years to come," she said.

She is married to Jim Wingfield and they have six grown children and nine grandchildren.

"The city of Prescott has been a great city to raise a family and I want to help keep it that way," Wingfield said. "I am a very conscientious person and will give 100 percent to whatever my duty may be. If elected City Councilman, Ward Four it would be my pleasure."
