Benefit BBQ Is Saturday in Blevins

The 10th annual area-wide benefit barbecue for the Arkansas Children's Hospital will be held Saturday, May 4, at the Blevins Fire Station.

Menu will consist of barbecued beef, pork and chicken, baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, dessert and tea. Serving time will start at 4:30 p.m. Carryouts will be available.

Cost will be $5 for adults and $2.50 for children 12 and under.

This year's benefit will have a variety of entertainment. Featured will be the gospel group, Heaven's Jubilee, from Hope and everyone's favorite, Randy McKinnon and the Bear Creek Boy.

Starting at 7:00 p.m. there will be a cake auction.

Everyone is invited to come out and support this special event. All proceeds will benefit the Arkansas Children's Hospital.
