Tackett's HonoredPublished Wednesday, May 1, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesDeborah Tackett and John Tackett, Shelter Insurance Company agents in Arkadelphia, have been honored among the company's top producers in life insurance sales. The Tackett agency was named to the firm's President's Council for selling life insurance worth at least $1 million in 1995 and meeting other corporate standards of sound agency operation. Fewer than 10 percent of Shelter agents earn this recognition. The Tackett agency has been with the firm since 1988 and has qualified for company awards conferences in every year from 1989 to 1994. Shelter Insurance is a mutual, multiple-lines company with 1,200 licensed agents in 13 midwestern and southern states.
