City Cleanup Campaign Is May 6-11

The City of Gurdon will conduct a curbside pick up campaign for household items only Monday, May 6 through Saturday, May 11.

According to a release from Gurdon Mayor Rick Smith, residents must call city hall at 353-2514 before 2 p.m. for same-day pick up.

Those living out of town can bring their refuse to the designated collection point at the corner of Joslyn and First streets between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Again, this is for household items only, which includes old appliances and furniture. No bagged items and no garbage will be accepted.
