3 From Area Graduate From UofAPublished Wednesday, May 8, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesThe University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) will hold commencement ceremonies at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, at Barton Coliseum for 574 candidates from Arkansas, other states and foreign countries. Candidates will be presented to Chancellor Ward by deans of the Graduate School. Students from Gurdon who will receive a degree are: Aimee Monette Hughes, who will receive a bachelor of science degree in nursing, and Rebecca Sue McGuirt, who will receive a doctor of pharmacy degree from the College of Pharmacy.
