Tiger Baseball Camp Is SetPublished Wednesday, May 8, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesThe Ouachita Baptist University Tiger baseball program will offer its first baseball camp for girls and boys, age 8 to seniors in high school, in two sessions, June 3-6 and June 10-13, at Rab Rodgers Field in Arkadelphia. Campers will be taught basic fundamentals in each area of catching, pitching, infield and outfield. Participants will need to bring their glove, cleats or spikes, bat, and, if applicable to the position, catcher's equipment. The cost of the camp is $150 per person. A $50 registration fee is due with the registration form. The camp director will be B.J. Brown, assistant baseball coach at Ouachita. For more information on the camp, call 246-5006.
