John `Buster' Willis

John Wayne `Buster' Willis, 41, of Prescott died Sunday, April 28, 1996, at this home.

He was a retired logger, a lifelong resident of Prescott and a member of Green Hill A.M.E. Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lucinda Willis; a stepson, Derrick Hardamon of Prescott; two brothers, Jerry Willis of Hope and David Willis of Nashville; four sisters, Gwendolyn Montgomery of Dyersburg, Tenn., Bonita Dawkins of Hickory, Miss., Sherri King of Fayetteville, N.C., and Sonye Willis of Flint, Mich.; and his mother, Johnnie Pearl Willis of Prescott.

Services were held Saturday, May 4, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Prescott with Rev. Joe Battle officiating. Burial was in DeAnn Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.}
