Ashbrook, Wilson Wed June 5 At Central Baptist

Nuptial vows were exchanged between Kelli Marie Ashbrook and Bryan Matthew Wilson at 7 p.m. June 5 in Central Baptist Church in Prescott officiated by Rev. Chad Brandon.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Ashbrook.

Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. William Mullins, Mrs. Edward Roberts and the late Mr. Roberts and the late Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Ashbrook all of Prescott.

Parents of the bridegroom are Rosemary Wilson of Mablevale and Rick Wilson of Benton.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Hyram Wilson and the late Mr. and Mrs. William V. Dopierala of Benton.

The entrance to the church was decorated with three clusters of four votive garden lights accented with tulle and greenery. The bride's table was outside with a floor length white lace cloth and chapel length tulle bows accented with red ribbon and greenery. The table held a large arrangement of fresh huckleberry, Gerber's stock, carnations and roses in shades of snow white and cardinal red in a silver wine cooler.

Attendants at the bride's table were LeAndra Dillard and Elizabeth Shephard of Gurdon and Heather McLelland of Magnolia.

The chapel held 12 candelabras arranged in a cathedral setting draped with fresh huckleberry, Gerber daises and carnations and red and white roses with white tapers. Beneath the candelabras were 12 Boston ferns.

Musicians were harpist Janel Hector and violinist Diana Hector of Tyler, Texas, and trumpeter Nate Lucena and organist Shelia Cannon of Prescott. Vocalist was Sherri Overton, aunt of the bride from Ft. Smith, who sang Ave Maria in Latin, Breath on Us and Make us One.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white gown designed by Emme, of satin and tulle with hand beaded Venice lace. The sculptured square neckline and Basque waste were detailed with a border of pearls and bugle beads, and the fitted bodice and long illusion sleeves were overlaid with appliques of Venice lace beaded with pearls and crystal bugle beads. The bouffant multi-layered shirts ended in a chapel train. The waist and cathedral lengths veil of silk illusion, edged in silk and cord fell from a tiara of pearls, crystal bugle beads and lace. She carried a cascade of cardinal roses accented with Ming fern.

For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Ashbrook chose a floor length cardinal silk dress with a scooped neckline and fitted bodice designed by Belsoie.

The groom's mother chose a floor length, champagne layered dress with a sheer matching jacket.

Laura Culpepper of Prescott was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Leslie Hines of Waco, Texas; Kadra Clark of Gurdon, Beth Culpepper of Prescott; Rena Tombs of Harleton, Texas; Scarlett Grady of Dierks; and Dr. Donna Wall of Nashville, Tenn., sister of the groom.

Junior bridesmaid was Laura Overton of Fort Smith, cousin of the bride.

The bridesmaids wore floor length dresses designed by the bride in black crushed silk. The halter style bodice was princess seamed with a low scooped back featuring crisscross straps. The attendants carried clutch bouquets of cardinal roses.

The father of the groom served as best man.

Groomsmen were Cary Ashbrook, brother of the bride, of Prescott; Graham Goodloe, cousin of the groom, of Little Rock; Chris Jackson of Epps, La., Craig Moses of Little Rock, Jack Goodloe, cousin of the bride, of Little Rock and Rob Walls of Nashville, Tenn.

Trey Overton, cousin of the bride, of Fort Smith served as junior groomsmen. He wore a black tuxedo with a red vest and red lapel rose, the same as the groomsmen.

Seating the guest were Toby Barton of Conway, Ross Cowling of Magnolia, Ian Marlar of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Jeremy McCarter of Gurdon, Ryan Traczewitz of Ruston, La., and Jimmy Stockton and Jamie Williams of Prescott.

The reception was held at the bride's home.

As you arrived at the Ashbrook home, the ushers met the guests to park their cars. A lighted walkway led to the entrance of the two white tents. The tents were decorated with several lighted Ficus trees and English ferns. Three beautiful chandeliers lighted the tents and surrounding the tents were 30 Tiki lamps with tulle and greenery.

At the end of one tent was a parquet dance floor decorated with lighted Ficus trees and tulle.

At the entrance of the first tent was a large round table covered with a white cloth, which held the bride's book. It also held a candle with their wedding announcement' which had been lifted and applied to the candle, given by a friend, a white basket filled with long stemmed red satin rice roses, monogrammed match books and pictures of the bride and groom. A large portrait of the bride stood by the table on a brass easel.

As you entered the tent, the focal point was the elegant elaborate bride's cake on a round table with a mirror. The cake was made of rolled fondant and individual handmade gum paste flowers and butterflies.

The food tent held four 8-foot tables with featured entrees on each table.

One held a roasted whole pig, potato salad, baked beans, stuffed mushrooms, cole slaw and heart shaped homemade yeast rolls.

A bride and groom ice mold surrounded with shrimp, julienne vegetables and dips served in red cabbage bowls, mini quiches Lorraine and blue cheese tartlet with pine nuts were on the second table.

Smoked salmon mousse served on rye bread and round blimi bread, pickle roll ups, chicken salad and pimento tortilla bites, sausage puffs and puff pastry straws were on the third table.

The groom's table held an Italian cream cake, watermelon fruit basket, chocolate dipped strawberries, frosted grapes, a variety of cheeses, pineapple trees, spinach dip and gourmet crackers.

There were three beverage tables consisting of a lighted large champagne fountain, coffee and punch.

All tables were covered with floor length white cloths accented with red rose petals and chocolate swains filled raspberries and strawberries.

Around the tents were fifteen five-foot round tables with floor length white cloths with black overlays and padded white chairs. Each table held a stemmed bowl with floating white rose candles, red rose petals and a beautiful beta fish. Surrounding the stem of the bowls were gardenia and magnolia blossoms with chocolate swains.

Party Pro DJ provided music for the reception. Young Love First Love was played during a slide presentation of the couple. The presentation had been put together by the bride's grandparents, William and Helen Mullins. The first dance by the bride and groom was the Theme from Titanic. My Girl by The Temptations was the song chosen by Tim Ashbrook to dance with his daughter. Rosemary Wilson chose A Song for Mama by Boyz to Men as the song to dance with her son, Bryan.
