Poll Workers For May 21 Primary Named

The Nevada County Democratic Committee has selected workers for the May 21 preferential primary election.

Voters who have just been annexed into the city of Prescott will be voting in Ward 4 instead of West Rural.

Listed below are the polling places for each precinct, as well as the judges, clerks and sheriffs for each.

Bluff City City and Rural -- Fire Station. Judges are J.L. Franklin, Rosie Lee Fort and Vernell Loe; clerks are Marguerite Tomlin and Teresa Plyler; and the sheriff is Jimmy Joe Butler.

Bodcaw City and Rural -- Community Center. Judges are Maude Miller, Alene Claus and J.D. Allen; clerks are Jimmy Joe Butler and Debbie May; and sheriff is Larry Hicks.

Boughton -- Baptist Church. Judges are Evelyn Hooks, Elsie Elmore and Kay Hendrix; clerks are Lenora McWilliams and Pauline Blevins; and sheriff is Willie Hooks.

Cale City and Rural -- City Hall. Judges are Janice Worlow, Earleen Ridling and Mary Smith; clerks are Betty Barham and Ellen Sue Dougan; and sheriff is Danny Martin.

Emmet City and Rural -- City Hall. Judges are Lucille Haltom, Ruth Jones and Ophelia Thompson; clerks are Winifred Ward and JoAnn Arnett; and sheriff is James Osborne.

Laneburg-Sutton -- Laneburg Fire Station. Judges are Patsy Wesson, Ann Walker and Allene Jones; clerks are Beverly Loe and Betty Cross; and sheriff is Phena Fincher.

Liberty -- Redland Community Center. Judges are Frances Bidwell, Mary Cox and Glenden Haynie; clerks are Ruby Bidwell and Ida Haynie; and sheriff is Pershing Cox.

New Hope -- Baptist Church. Judges are Leona Ballard and Stacy Hildebrand; clerks are Peggy Cummings and Kathy Thompson; and sheriff is Jim Ballard.

Rosston City and Rural -- City Hall. Judges are Johnnie Marsh, Edna Kelly and Lula Kendrick; clerks are Earnestine Benefield and Janet Smith; and sheriff is Leslie Box.

Union -- Union Church. Joyce Hicks, Mary Adams and Joe Dillard; clerks are Bonnie Lawler and Virginia Dillard; and sheriff is Tilton Butler.

Willisville City, Rural and Waterloo -- Fire Station. Judges are Velma Mixon, Billy Goodwin and Locleta Bailey; clerks are Nancy Fore and Marjorie Evans; and sheriff is Bobby Nell Goodwin.

Georgia -- Morris Church. Judges are Ann Loe, Maxine Glass and Ruby Wicker; clerks are Marcia Rhodes and Betty McBride; and sheriff is Margie Reed.

Jackson-Leake -- New Salem Church. Judges are Icephine Williams and Magaline Williams; clerks are Mae Christopher and Vira Martin; and sheriff is Thurman Simpson.

Alabama -- Falcon Church. Judges are Lorene Pierce and Myra May; clerks are Betty Mohan and Frances McKamie; and sheriff is Pete Dockery.

Ward I -- Courthouse. Judges are Bud Vandiver, Grady Faye McCaskill and Willie Muldrew; clerk is Ida Purtle; and sheriff is Brice Stewart.

Ward 2 -- Chruch of Christ. Judges are Karen Jobe, Carla Christopher and Gene Cloer; clerk is Pat Hart; and sheriff is James Fincher.

Ward 3 -- Methodist Church. Judges are Mary Ethel Harris, Flossie Childers and Mildred White; clerks are Juanita Taylor and Adell Blake; and sheriff is Jerry Wilson.

Ward 4 -- Central Baptist Church. Judges are Susie Meeks, Madeline Anderson and Mary Johnson; clerks are Mildred Scott and Carolyn Stovall; and sheriff is Medius Avery.

West Rural -- First Baptist Church. Judges are Catherine Lusby, Mary Orren and Rhonda Beavers; clerks are Joyce Tyree and Zelma Sanford; and sheriff is Dale Ward.

East Rural -- First Baptist Church. Judges are Joyce Martin, Pat Milam and Betty Honey; clerks are Maude Henson and Anne Gordon; and sheriff is Mary Lou Cottingham.
