Elections Tuesday

Democrats and Republicans go to the polls together next Tuesday, May 21, in Arkansas' first preferential primary.

Clark County residents will have several choices to make - though not everyone will able to vote on everything on the ballot.

Gurdon residents will be deciding on the office of city marshall and city recorder/treasurer. Several JP races will be decided in south Clark County.

The winner from each party will square off next November.

Because the election results will not be until Tuesday night, The Gurdon Times will be delayed in publishing next week.

While the newspaper is normally available early Wednesday morning, it is not expected to be ready next week until after lunch Wednesday.
