Library's Summer Reading Program Blast Off June 5

Children of all ages will explore new worlds as they boldly go where they have never gone before through the universe of books at their library during this year's summer reading program.

They will explore the wonderful world of stars and planets and space travel as they prepare to be a junior astronaut.

The summer reading program will begin June 5 and continue each Wednesday through June 26 at the Nevada County Library at 10:00 a.m.

Maebell James, the Regional Children's Librarian, will be in charge.

There will be reading sessions, crafts, puzzles, games and other activities.
