Archie B. StovallPublished Wednesday, July 14, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneArchie B. Stovall, 93, of Hope, formerly of Prescott, died Sunday, July 11, 1999, at Pinehope Nursing Home in Hope. Mr. Stovall was born August 12, 1905, in Nevada County to Burt T. and Mary Etta Carter Stovall. He was a retired carpenter, a former employee of Booker Construction Co. of Emmet and a WWII U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Cross Stovall. Survivors include one son, Ron Stovall of Hope; one sister, Mamie Pratt of Camden; and two grandchildren, Shane Stovall with the U.S. Navy in Tampa, Fla., and Shannon Bennett of Texarkana. Graveside services are today, Wednesday, July 14, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Rev. Fred Hunter officiating.
